Have a break with a 'Movie'

Used to..

"..declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a book! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library."

— Jane Austen (Pride and Prejudice)

But now..

"I declare after all there is no enjoyment like "Movies"! How much sooner one tires of any thing than of a "movie"! -- When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent "movies collection"."

Books used to be my way out of this world but to be honest from 2 years ago until now the only time I find myself actually enjoying my time is when I'm alone watching a movie or a series. It’s something I find myself liking to do more than having a conversation with family and friends. People around me find it hard to understand but that’s just me. Some like fashion, some like hanging out, some are just too religious to care about what life offers and some are just simple who finds a movie as a break from life to lift their moods up.

Doubt !!

I’ve been having these bad feelings of why I’m I not perfect in anything
It’s like wherever I turn I find someone is good at something whether it was studying, working, mothering, even being a good daughter ..
But me.. nothing I find myself adequate at everything, I always meet everything or everyone half way through, never till the end.
Then today I read مريم سيف المزروعي book ‘قال لي مولاي’ there was this part where she talked about people who suffer from the same thing I was just talking about and she brought up this ayah from el Quran (( وَلِكُلٍّ وَجْهَةٌ هُوَ مُوَلِّيهَا فَاسْتَبِقُوا الخَيْرَاتِ )) البقرة 148 It literally brought me to tears.. i mean i dont envy people but i always question myself why i'm i not good enough?

here is part of what i was talking about..

hopefully it made you feel better if you were having the same doubts i'm having, just believe that something good is coming, something much more better. & enshalla we all be mn "أهل الخيرات"

Miss our silance

"We sit silently and watch the world around us. This has taken a lifetime to learn. It seems only the old are able to sit next to one another and not say anything and still feel content. The young, brash and impatient, must always break the silence. It is a waste, for silence is pure. Silence is holy. It draws people together because only those who are comfortable with each other can sit without speaking. This is the great paradox."

— Nicholas Sparks

I miss our days when we used to sit next to each other listening to Mohd 3bdo, without saying a single word and we would know exactly what we've been through :((

I would always ask 'What went wrong?!'

They don’t give a fuck about you

"Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice . . . you don’t. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own, and control the corporations. They’ve long since bought, and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls, they got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying . . . lobbying, to get what they want . . . Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I’ll tell you what they don’t want . . . they don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking. They’re not interested in that . . . that doesn’t help them. That’s against their interests. That’s right. They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table and think about how badly they’re getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fuckin' years ago. They don’t want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers . . . Obedient workers, people who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork. And just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime and vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it, and now they’re coming for your Social Security money. They want your fuckin' retirement money. They want it back so they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street, and you know something? They’ll get it . . . they’ll get it all from you sooner or later cause they own this fuckin' place. It’s a big club and you ain't in it. You and I are not in The big club. By the way, it’s the same big club they use to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long beating you over the head with their media telling you what to believe, what to think and what to buy. The table has tilted folks. The game is rigged and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. Good honest hard-working people . . . white collar, blue collar it doesn’t matter what color shirt you have on. Good honest hard-working people continue, these are people of modest means . . . continue to elect these rich cocksuckers who don’t give a fuck about you. They don’t give a fuck about you . . . they don’t give a fuck about you. They don’t care about you at all . . . at all . . . at all, and nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. That’s what the owners count on. The fact that Americans will probably remain willfully ignorant of the big red, white and blue dick that’s being jammed up their assholes everyday, because the owners of this country know the truth. It’s called the American Dream cause you have to be asleep to believe it..."

— George Carlin

The thing is that this isn’t just “the American Dream” this is the kind of dream all citizens of the world dream of, right? although we know its to good to be true yet we keep imagining of not a world with a 'better' place but 'perfect' one and when it doesn’t go the way we want it we start blaming the other side whether it was religion, politics.. how blindly stupid are we??

Hold on to me

"Love means holding on to someone just as hard as you can because if you don't, one blink and they might disappear...forever."

— Ellen Hopkins

But am tired of being the only one holding on, it can’t always come from me first. It’s your turn from now on to show me how much I mean to you.

Passion..

"Passion makes a person stop eating, sleeping, working, feeling at peace. A lot of people are frightened because, when it appears, it demolishes all the old things it finds in its path. No one wants their life thrown into chaos.

That is why a lot of people keep that threat under control, and are somehow capable of sustaining a house or a structure that is already rotten. They are the engineers of the superseded. Other people think exactly the opposite: they surrender themselves without a second thought, hoping to find in passion the solutions to all their problems. They make the other person responsible for their happiness and blame them for their possible unhappiness.
They are either euphoric because something marvelous has happened or depressed because something unexpected has just ruined everything.

Keeping passion at bay or surrendering blindly to it - which of these two attitudes is the least destructive? ... I don't know."

— Paulo Coelho
